University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ('UEC') supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Temporary, part time 'non-exempt', non benefited position through 12/31/2023 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $30.00-$55.00 per hour.

Program Summary: The CSUSB Department of Nursing (DON) and its faculty continuously strive to enact its mission to be the center of excellence in nursing education. The Department offers two nursing degrees, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). The bachelor's degree has three program tracks, the prelicensure BSN, for students who do not possess a Registered Nurse (RN) license, the RN-BSN track for students who possess an RN license, and the Concurrent Enrollment Pathway for associate-degree seeking students who are attending a community college while dually enrolled in one BSN course at CSUSB. The master's degree offers three concentrations, Population Health, Nursing Education, and Public Health Nurse.
Up to 19 hours per week. Schedule to be arranged, but typically, Monday-Friday within the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm though some nights, weekend work may be required.

Under minimal supervision of the PI and Co-PI, the NCLEX Success Specialist will work independently to:
Assess cohort test scores (Mountain Measurement and ATI) and create a plans for improvement.
Collaborate with faculty and students to implement plans for improvement.
Meet with students who are performing below level 2 on the ATI proctored exams and discuss plans for improvement.
Assess and evaluate senior students' test scores and work with faculty to improve comprehensive predictor scores.
Work with Department Chair, Program Director (PD) and Curriculum Committee (CC) to create a plan to improve the NCLEX Mountain Measurement scores.
Present plans for improvement to CC and Faculty Organization
In consultation with PD, Assistant PD, and CC, assess and evaluate ATI comprehensive predictor scores and develop plans for improvement.
In consultation with PD, help students prepare for their NCLEX-RN application.
Collect and report outcome data to PI, Co-PI, and other DON committees.
Other position related duties as assigned.
Education: Master's Degree in nursing.
Experience: Part/full-time Faculty in Nursing Education, Proficient in ATI and Evolve Products
Other: Proficient in Excel, Microsoft, ATI, Evolve Products, and/or other related learning management systems. Strong customer service skills.
Experienced in coaching nursing students with NCLEX success.
