NPR of America, Inc. is an industry leader providing premium piston rings to both the OEM and Aftermarket business segments. Currently, our Aftermarket Sales Group in Buena Park, CA is seeking to add a position to the team. We are seeking to hire a High Performance and Domestic Sales Specialist
The position will be the primary business contact, servicing several accounts in different market segments. The position’s focus is to ensure the highest level of customer experience and business growth on each engagement.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
- Monitor and impact customer satisfaction on an ongoing basis anticipating and addressing customer issues, resolving issues in a timely manner, and using these opportunities to build and maintain a strong relationship with customers.
- Prepare all appropriate inputs for customers including product, price, commercial terms and conditions, and implement agreed-upon outcomes. Support customer negotiations in conjunction with Sales Management.
- Analyze sales data by market, by customer, by product to determine performance at each level and identify opportunities for growth.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with current accounts and new accounts.
- Develop plans and strategies by coordinating with other team members to achieve sales and inventory targets.
- Serve as the expert for all NPR products
- Stay current on the latest developments in the market and competitive environment.
- Prepare monthly and annual sales forecasts.
- Prepare a variety of reports, proposals and presentations
- Works with the CSR and other account support teams to address shipment expectations, order status, collection issues, credit/return processing and other issues.
- Support CSR with stock checks, tech questions and order entry if necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 + years related experience in sales preferably automotive engine parts or technical product sales
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Computer Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
- Excellent oral, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently
- Ability to engage customers to drive sales.
- Strong presentation skills, positive attitude and ability to work in a target driven environment
- Results oriented with good business acumen, excellent time management and organization skills
- Ability to travel (including overnight) 20-25%
