- Mows greens, tees, aprons, and approaches to greens and other areas not accessible with gang mowers; rakes sand bunkers.
-Maintains gasoline, oil and other equipment fluid levels daily; reports equipment problems and failures to equipment manager immediately.
-Performs basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the Equipment Manager; and returns equipment to its designated location at the maintenance facility.
-Utilizes loaders to remove dirt, debris and other materials.
-May occasionally operate other equipment in the absence of Equipment Operator.
-May be asked to perform course setup including cut daily cups and change tee markers.
-Performs other duties as directed by Supervisors.
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements:
Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools associated with the green industry
Special Requirements:
Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl. This job requires overtime as needed. Possession of a valid driver’s license.
